JCO Correspondence Section To Be Modified in January ‘06
With the dramatic increase in the number of high-quality manuscript submissions, the JCO has seen an attendant increase in the number of correspondence submissions. The Journal welcomes correspondence as an important venue for dialogue among the clinical research community. However, to apportion sufficient pages for original research, the Journal is changing how it will publish correspondence.
Beginning with Volume 24, Issue number 1 in January 2006, selected correspondence will appear in the print issue, while all of the letters will continue to be published online, which is the journal of record. For easy reference, the titles and authors of the correspondence associated with a particular issue will also be listed in that print issue.
