Journal of Clinical Oncology Adopts New Online Publishing Policy
Effective this month, Journal of Clinical Oncology will publish all articles on JCO.org in advance of publication in the print journal. The new policy will provide JCO subscribers with the latest clinical research several weeks before it appears in print.
Material published online Ahead of Print will have been reviewed, proofread, typeset and in the final form in which it will appear in the print journal. Early release articles will be identified as such in a special section on the JCO.org website. Once the article appears in print, it will be moved from the early release section of the site and grouped with the other contents of the issue in which it appears.
All manuscripts accepted for publication by JCO are assigned unique Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and each manuscript published online Ahead of Print is citable, with the official publication date the date of the manuscript's first online posting.
