ASCO Respects Your Time: Single Sign On Now Available
You may have noticed a new timesaving feature available on ASCO.org and JCO.org. (Or better yet, you probably did not notice.) ASCO members no longer have to sign in twice when moving between password-protected areas of ASCO.org and JCO.org. ASCO has instituted “single sign-on” between the two sites. The best news is that you do not have to do anything to make this happen. It’s automatic and behind the scenes.
An example of how it works:
- ASCO member opens ASCO.org and signs in using member ID and password
- While navigating the site, the member selects a link to JCO.org
- JCO.org opens in a new window showing the member as signed in to the JCO.org account
- Member now has access to all contents on JCO.org
Single sign-on works in the other direction, too!
Even if you maintain different IDs/PWs for ASCO.org and JCO.org, as long as you sign in with one, you’ll be able to easily pass back and forth between the two sites.
